2013 - Looking Ahead
Sunday, 09 December 2012 14:46

With our name change official and plans in place to enable the International  Humanitarian Society to receive Foundation money, we are hoping 2013 is our year to complete many projects that have for too long been dreams yet to be fulfilled.  We are very excited and hopeful for all this New Year shall bring.

We remain so grateful for the faithful donations that have kept our workers in the field.  The work continues and lives in many communities have been changed for the better.  It has always been the Vision of I.H.S. to give practical help that will have long term effects.  Our workers have left an imprint on thousands, and lives are literally being changed.  God has enabled us to bless the poor, the widow and the orphan in many countries.

All our workers have a common goal, to change lives for an eternity and meet the basic needs of the people they work with.  We firmly believe God blesses us as we bless others.

Our deepest gratitude to all our workers, our supporters and those who pray for this organization. Thank you for your support and belief in this work.

Our commitment to use the funds given to these works in an upright manner remains,  I.H.S. uses 10% for administration cost and 90% goes into the field.  We keep the funds that are not used for accounting fees and operating cost to build a savings account to help our workers when emergencies arise.  I.H.S. strives to be good stewards of the gifts entrusted to our care.

God bless you all.

Year In Review - 2010
Wednesday, 26 January 2011 00:00
Last year brought changes in the direction of IHS as we see more of
our agents moving toward humanitarian aid. It is no longer enough to merely tell people
of God’s love and concern for them, but we must show them by our actions. Feeding the
poor, caring for the sick and enabling people to find ways to change their lives with jobs,
resources and long term direction is our goal.

Our workers around the world are successfully changing lives and we are so grateful to
be a part of this vital work. We acknowledge with gratitude every donor who has so
faithfully given to these works. Your gifts allow our agents to minister in ways that will
impact generations. We believe that as you have given so freely from your hearts to this
ministry and its varied works, that you too will be abundantly blessed. Thank you so

We continue to administer all funding directly to the works less our 10% administration
fee that covers accounting costs and moderate expenses. We give back to various
charities from this fund and keep a percentage of that fee to maintain an emergency fund
for our agents. 90% of all funding goes to the workers in the field without fail. Our
commitment to you is to be good stewards of these funds that have been entrusted to our

It is a privilege to work with the gifted men and women of this ministry and their hearts
are truly dedicated to the service of those in need. We are blessed by each and every one
of our agents and take no aspect of this call to help those in need lightly.

Pray God’s richest blessing upon all those whose hearts are set on helping those in need.
What a blessing it is to serve.
